Unfortunately we were not able to meet up this past week, but are planning on meeting next week sometime and next weekend. Kean put in a lot of work into organizing the final project this weekend and Kean and I crafted a list of tasks that need to be accomplished before submitting, which has been posted below. In addition, we are still struggling with our fourth group member, Shaden, and plan on talking to the professor in class tomorrow. We have talked to them before and were told to figure it out on our own. As we now approach week 9, things need to change if this project is expected to be completed. In addition, we need to talk to the professor about discrepancies in the graded draft due to an un-updated rubric and problems associated with the updated one.
Final Preparations
-Finish sections on presentation
-Make sure everyone knows their part
-Practice Presentation after completion
-Revise the paper
-->Add conclusion
-->Add annotations
-->Final thoughts and changes
-Edit and revise final draft
-Figure out what IEEE siting format is and convert sources to IEEE form
-Make sure all the data is there
-Label charts and cite them
-Get Shaden's work
-Get in contact with Shaden

For our ENGR 103 project, we will be looking into the Swedish Trash Incineration programs. The country generates large amounts of electricity from this process and even imports trash to keep up with demands. We will research the environmental effects of this process as well as the environmental aspects of transporting trash into the country. If our research shows that the incineration of trash is more environmentally friendly than the use of landfills, we will look into its use in Philadelphia.

Class Eight (5/19/2015)
For our eighth class, we talked with our TA and discussed what is needed for the rest of our project. After working with Kean over the weekend, the two of us were able to set up a power point for our final presentation on google docs to allow for everyone to work on it simultaneously. In addition, we found data on landfill emissions. All we need left is Shaden's part of the project on the importation and exportation of waste to and from Sweden, small amounts of research involving landfills, and comparing the data from landfills to WTE plants. We have also planned on meeting on Thursday at 12:30 in order to make sure Shaden has done the work required of her.

Class Seven (5/12/2015)
For our seventh class period, Kean and I quickly reviewed the Final Report Draft before submitting it online. In addition, we are revising the draft even more and adding charts. After that, Kean, Shaden, and I continued to do research for our topics. Unfortunately Brandon was held up due to a personal issue and was not able to meet with us today, but we are planning on meeting on Friday, May 15th at 11 am.

Monday May 11th
Tomorrow, the Final Report Draft is due and today, we collaborated in making the final checks and adding last minute details to the report. For the report, Colin Burlingham wrote the Abstract, the Introduction and the Problem Overview sections. Kean Quick wrote the Existing Solutions, Project Objectives, and the Technical Activities sections and Brandon Taing wrote the Project Timeline and Future Work. Each member also added their research to the Results section and Kean and I, Colin, reviewed and formatted the document before submitting it. Although we are not done yet, hopefully with a little more research and data mining, we will have all the information required to complete the project.

Class Six (5/5/2015)
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet up over this past weekend as we had planned, but, during our class time today, we organized our data as planned so that we do not miss anything (listed below). In addition, Brandon created a google docs page for our final report so we do not need to rely on one person to set it up and organize it as we did for the proposal. Other than that, we just continued to research our topics and started writing for the final report draft, which is due next Tuesday, May 12th.
